We are seeking an individual for a Supervisor to join our growing operations team in the Ottawa-Gatineau region. The individual will report to an Area Manager and will be focused on operational duties that drive overall results. This individual must possess a high level of integrity, the willingness to learn, the ability to lead by example and the commitment to work as a team member in delivering superior customer service within dynamic work environment.

Task description:


· Supervise the general operations of each location

· Staffing – scheduling, training, evaluation, for direct reports

· Assist field staff during peak periods

· Ensure parking equipment is functioning properly, basic trouble shooting to effect repairs

and/or escalate to restore proper functioning

· Activate/deactivate monthly parking access cards

· Generate monthly parker lists for field staff

· Patrol and inspect each location with a focus on the following:

Ø Snow removal

Ø Lot Conditions (Surface, HVAC, Lighting, …)

Ø Ensure proper vehicle circulation

Ø Verify on-site supplies are adequate (tickets, cashier reports,…)

· Perform lot audits and issue City of Ottawa infraction as required

· Provide field staff with audit reports and assist with enforcement as needed

· Act immediately upon the instructions of Area Manager

· Make suggestions to Area Manager, on how to improve revenues for each location


· Approve all employee hours in payroll system

· Prepare 2 week rolling schedule for all direct reports

· Ensure all cashier reports are collected daily, and brought to office for processing

· Ensure that all operational policies are being followed for each location

· Ensure that all money handling procedures are followed by direct reports

· Ensure that all locations (staffed and automated) are properly stocked with required


· Ensure staff have the correct float for change

· Assist Area Manager with client relations

· Assist Area Manager with field staff performance reviews


2+ years management/supervisory experience, including management of front line staff

Self-motivated with strong customer/client relations skills

Hands-on approach to management

Excellent organizational skills

Excellent verbal/written skills

PC literacy (Microsoft Office Suite)

Valid Canadian drivers licence and ability to operate manual transmission vehicles

Valid police record check

Bilingualism (French/English) an asset

Previous parking experience an asset
