The contract commenced on May 1 and a smooth transition of services from the previous incumbent operator was effected by the VINCI Park team with no disruption to services to the airport customers.

VINCI Park will go on to deliver upon a strategy that will ensure the continual improvement of the operation at the airport whilst delivering unprecedented levels of excellence in customer service by investing in the training and development of the individual colleagues within the VINCI Park under the guidance of a new management team.

“We are pleased to add this established and dynamic parking environment to our growing portfolio”, states Adamo Donatucci, General Manager of Toronto,  for VINCI Park, “we have the skills and experience to successfully deliver the highest standards”.

Phil David, Director of Parking and Ground Transportation, Greater Toronto Airports Authority commented “The Greater Toronto Airports Authority is very pleased to welcome Vinci Park to Toronto Pearson.

As Canada’s largest commercial parking facility our focus has shifted in recent years to manage Parking as a business rather than just an operation.   Our goal is to deliver the ideal customer experience, while improving customer service, traffic flow and overall efficiency within our parking network. We also have a mandate to create incremental non-aeronautical revenue streams.

As part of its five year strategic plan, the GTAA Parking group continues to invest in new technology to address our revenue and efficiency goals, and expects to see VINCI Park deliver a model that will increasingly shift focus to leverage that technology.

Throughout the RFP process, we were clear that we were searching for a true collaborative partner.  We expect to see evidence of strong business acumen in conjunction with operational expertise so we can grow topline revenue, manage costs and deliver bottom line profit that we can invest back into our operation.

We look forward to a very robust partnership with VINCI Park through the life of this contract”.
